9/12/21 - Bench and Stuff

Got some training in on a fine Sunday morning. I skipped the deadlifts because my lat kept me from deadlifting regularly this cycle and it’s time for a deload so I figured one more week wouldn’t hurt. I did want to wrap up my bench training for this cycle though.

  • Bench - 165 x 5, 190 x 3, 210 x 5, 220 x 2, 3, 2 (Joker sets)

  • Double KB Clean and Push Press - 10 minutes of :30/:30 work/rest with the 14s. This worked out to about 8 or 9 per interval. The weights were super light but I just wanted to move a bit.

  • Blast Strap Rows - BW x 4 x 6 - I tried a chin and it was still a no-go with my lat. Grateful I can do other rowing/back work though.
